Present: A Jack Bergman Town Hall

A Note to our friends and supporters:

Traverse Indivisible has launched a fundraiser to help pay for the cost of staging Saturday’s town hall—you know, the one that Jack won’t hold himself.

The costs for the event are approximately $3000, so our ActBlue page is now showing a fundraising thermometer with a goal of $3000.  We are not asking for a dollar more than that, because we don’t want make any money off of Jack, we only want him to do his job.

The fundraiser will be featured on our website and social media until the goal is achieved. You can help by sharing the ActBlue link below with people you know that are supportive of our work to hold Jack accountable.

Just click here to contribute to the effort.

Thank you for your help with this—see you Saturday!

Traverse Indivisible and Leelanau Indivisible have invited 1st District Representative Bergman to attend this town hall event. However, since he hasn't held a town hall in eight years, he may not attend, but we will hold the event with or without him. The event will be run in a town hall format, with lots of time planned for participants to ask questions of Rep. Bergman and to tell your stories about how the Trump administration has impacted issues that are important to you and our community.

NOTE: Only live-streaming is available, as the in-person portion of the event is filled up. Questions may only be asked in-person at the event.

The town hall will last 90 minutes. The press are invited to the event.

The live-streaming link will be sent to registrants before the event. You must register in order to receive the link.
