MARCH 8-22

It Takes A Village…

Traverse Indivisible is a 100% donor funded and volunteer fueled non-profit organization, and like every group, we have expenses; room rentals, technology, and events. We don't ask for money often, but this moment demands it. From March 8–22, we're asking you to fuel the people-powered movement that's defending democracy here in Northern Michigan, and beyond.

What We’ve Built Together…

Historic Protests

We organized the largest protest in Northern Michigan history, 7,000 people standing together against authoritarianism. Even more remarkable? We also hold second and third place. When democracy is threatened, Northern Michigan shows up.

Largest in NoMi History

No ICE at TVC

In coordination with a nationwide coalition, our relentless organizing didn't just end Avelo Airlines' deportation charter, it forced them out of Traverse City entirely. We proved that sustained, strategic community action can take on corporations and win.

Our Work Against Avelo Airlines
Local Efforts with National Reach

National Recognition

When tragedy struck our country with the shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, our ICE OUT Rapid Response protest earned national coverage on the Rachel Maddow show. Our collective voice reached millions, showing the country what grassroots resistance looks like.

Knowledge is Power

Community Education

We don't just protest, we inform. Through workshops, forums, and direct outreach, we've helped thousands of Northern Michiganders understand the issues impacting their lives and take meaningful action at every level of government. Our leadership team and educational resources have been utilized by not only groups state-wide, but across the entire United States.
